Clay Aiken--okay that was a joke. For me it's pretty simple. 70's r&b (The Chi-lites, Gladys Knight & the Pips, the Ojays, etc.), the jazz standards (Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne, etc.). And, yes, I'm proud to say that I love Disco. Always have and always will. I also like some 70's rock (Arrowsmith, Kiss, etc.)

Actually, I really don't like reading. However, I do like Harlen Coben.

I sort of believe that if you're overly educated (Georgetown Law -- which sucked ass by the way) and somewhat successful (Own a pretty successful company, have published three books, and had a law review article I wrote quoted by the U.S. Supreme Court) that you can watch stupid, mindless shitty shows. When I was 29 I was renting office space to this girl who was engaged to a guy who didn't want to marry her (no the guy wasn't me). She was supposed to be a lawyer, but she spent all her time consulting with her phone psychic about how to get the rich boyfriend to marry her. Anyway, one day, as I'm walking into the office, the girl says, "Mark, my psychic could feel your aura and she says you're in a state of Saturn Return." She then described how in astrology, every 28-31 years in each person's life some stuff happens with Saturn that causes the person to question where their life is going, what they really should be doing, etc. Sort of life a post-quarter-life-crisis. The minute, she described it to me, I knew it was a book I wanted to write. You can read pieces of it in my first few blogs. If I wasn't constantly being creative I'd be miserable., My other big interest is cooking. If had to do it all over again I'd have gone to culinary school and become a chef. I love the sounds, smells, chopping -- everything about cooking. I watch the Food Network a lot and never get bored. The way some guys feel in Home Depot (know where all the shit is and how to use it) is the way I feel in Williams Sonoma., I also love rollerblading. I do my best thinking blading around Calhoun. I also work out a lot, but mostly so I can continue to eat what I love and still have a chance to find a girlfriend.
